Dot's Place:

Dot's place is a program run in cooperation with Meriden-Wallingford Chrysalis Inc. to provide affordable housing to victims of domestic violence for a period of 6 months so they can focus on processing their trauma and moving into a new season of stability in their lives. See the news story below to hear testimony from one of our tenants! Dot's Place is named in honor of a member of Center Church, Dot Legender, who has since passed into the cloud of witnesses. Her family helped provide many of the initial furnishings for the space. Our congregation maintains the space and covers all of the operating costs each year, and the tenant covers electricity, phone, and internet.
