UCC Our Churches Wider Mission – supports local church ministries, wider Church missions, and justice and witness ministries.

In our local community we support, through monetary donations and our time, organizations such as the Meriden Soup Kitchen, Shelter NOW (homeless shelter), Chrysalis (domestic violence agency), the YMCA Campership Fund, and other non-profit organizations. We collect food for area food pantries and the Meriden Soup Kitchen. Each Veterans Day we donate the food for the main meal at the Soup Kitchen and volunteer as cooks and servers. Every Thursday, a group of volunteers from Center Church volunteers as servers and cooks at the soup kitchen as well.
